By connecting a LP-1518 Wireless Access Point to your wired network, users can enjoy wireless Internet access faster than ever before. Meanwhile, robust security ensures the Internet connection is protected. The LP-1518  is the ideal solution for your wireless Internet experience.

Using an external antenna, as the LP-YAGI2415 http://www.lan-products.com/wd_anntena_yagi.htm ) , this Small AP can be used  as a premises radio in a HotSpot setup, allowing multiple users to take advantage of a wireless network in a wide open area.  The LP-1518  has been successfully proven as client-side radio  in marinas, campuses, and small villages.

Effortless Bridging Capabilities . There is no need to install drivers!!
 As a wireless Ethernet Bridge, the LP-1518 quickly enables any Ethernet-ready device with wireless connectivity, including network printers, print servers, Web cameras, on-line game consoles and any Windows/non-Windows PC. Furthermore, LP-1518 can easily bridge multiple Ethernet clients to a wireless AP for workgroup applications.

Enhanced Wireless Security

This wireless Access Point supports both basic 64/128-bit WEP encryption and up-to-date enhanced wireless security with 802.1x authentication and Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA). Additional Mac address filtering shields wireless network from unauthorized users' entries and assures your wireless communication is protected.
